Keep the queue moving and get the next group ready without manually rebuilding the rotation every game.
Manage multiple courts while keeping track of what's playing, what's next, and who's waiting.
Open Play has limited court time. TigaKyu is built around getting players back on court faster.
The TigaKyu Principle
Open Play has a limited amount of time. When players spend 20 or 30 minutes waiting between games, that is time they could have spent playing.
TigaKyu focuses on making the queue and rotation easier to manage so more of the session is spent on court.
Check-in is managed by the organizer. Statistics and rankings reflect the games in that event.
FIFO player selection supports queue fairness, with partnerships randomized only within the selected group of four.
Future direction
TigaKyu is built around improving Open Play rotation and reducing unnecessary waiting. We listen to organizers and players, but every feature needs to support the experience we're trying to improve.
Feedback and suggestions are welcome. Additional features are not necessarily the priority; keeping the queue simple and moving comes first.
Skill-based matchmaking and other features may be considered as the product evolves.
